Discover the Wonders of Creation

Fundamental physics — the discipline that reveals the very foundations of reality itself — has transformed the way we understand the world.

In recent years, remarkable connections have been discovered between these scientific insights and the Torah — connections that reveal a profound and fascinating harmony once unfathomable.

The Institute for Advanced Torah and Science is dedicated to exploring these striking connections and to advancing groundbreaking interdisciplinary studies that demonstrate how the Torah and science illuminate and deepen one another.

Our research follows questions about matter and quantum fields, the history and structure of the cosmos, consciousness and free will, and the meaning of the biblical creation account. The idea of the human being created in the image of God gives particular urgency to our study of dignity and responsibility in an age of artificial intelligence.

We work through close reading, scientific analysis, and philosophical argument. Lectures, publications, and the Earth and Heaven learning community bring this research into conversation with a wider public.

Founder and director

Dr. Daniel Turgeman is a particle physicist with a Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science. He participated in the ATLAS experiment at CERN and studies questions related to cosmology, dark matter, and extra dimensions.

He is also a graduate of advanced yeshiva studies and lectures on Torah and science in academic and public settings. This combination of scientific and Torah study informs the institute’s interdisciplinary approach.

An independent nonprofit
